With over 25 years in the music industry as a musician and a songwriter,
I have had my share of successes and failures. Having performed at some
of the more notable venues in Hollywood, rubbed elbows with many past
and present stars of this business, and negotiated business deals with
industry leaders, I realize how difficult it is for the artist to make
it successful in this very competitive music industry. What I have
discovered over the years was the lack of managerial leadership. The
artist would attempt to balance producing and managing responsibilities,
along with their performing and songwriting talents, usually with the
music creativity suffering due this balancing act. I have also found,
that if a musical act is to have a chance at being successful, it should
be focused on what it does best, and that is the music, not the music
business.
Because of these concerns for the artists, RockWorks® Productions, Inc.
was created to assist the gifted artist by handling all of the business
responsibilities for the artist. Like all businesses, management is
imperative, and responsible management is essential towards the
operation of the business. Most successful artists have responsible
